Another Reason for Children to Be Physically Active

Researchers at the University of Alberta in Canada completed a study that looked at the connections between athletic skill and social acceptance among school children. The researchers found that children place great value on athletic ability, and youngsters who are considered unskilled by their peers often experience sadness, isolation and social rejection at school.
